Pilates - mat based
Pilates is a form of exercise which consists of slow, controlled, flowing moves which primarily focus on strengthening the lumbo pelvic region known as the core. It is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness and in particular is a safe form of exercise for a wide range of medical conditions including non-specific back pain, arthritis and all postural issues. For sports people, it is not only an ideal form of rehabilitation from injury, but a valuable additional training method.

The Pilates exercises improve posture, mobility and flexibility, increases stability of the pelvis (supporting the spine) and shoulders and identifies and reduces muscle imbalances.

The practice of Pilates is beneficial for your overall well being as it combines concentration, breathing and movement with relaxation.
